PUBLIC RELATIONS

Public relations is the most important tool you can possess.

  • We will stress how to approach land owners and suggest what to say.
  • How you will conduct yourself while on their property.

Most landowners are receptive to predator hunting. They have their reasons to say "No" or by asking you not to hunt certain areas.

  • Respect their wishes and their property and you will most likely be welcomed back.
  • Do not trespass on property you do not have permission to access.
  • Obey the laws.

It is better to pass a shot at a coyote or predator than to be cited and loose your privileges.

  • Always play it safe.

Bring clothing for all types of weather. A sleeping bag is important because you may sleep on the flats or a mountain side-it depends on where there are predator problems. Walt works on several thousand acres for the different ranches in the area.
